COVID-19 testing is available at the Memorial Drive-thru Lab – 4th & Carpenter and Memorial ExpressCare and Drive-thru Lab – South Sixth with an order. For screening or a referral for COVID-19 testing, contact your doctor.
Memorial Physician Services serves people of all ages experiencing respiratory issues or symptoms of potential COVID-19. We provide screening, evaluation and carside swab testing for symptomatic individuals; however, we do not provide testing for individuals without symptoms and a physician order is required. Physicians and advanced practice providers will conduct a phone assessment and determine next steps for care. Telephonic assessments are billable under Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance plans.
COVID-19 IV Therapy Treatment
Memorial Health System offers monoclonal antibody treatment to help patients who have mild-to-moderate COVID-19.
The infusion therapy is accessible under an emergency use authorization (EUA) for COVID-19 patients over 18 years of age with the goal of preventing disease progression, especially among high-risk individuals. The treatment for COVID-19 is available locally on an outpatient basis at Memorial ExpressCare – South Sixth in Springfield and also at the ExpressCare on North Water in Decatur.
The IV treatment is available by referral from a physician or if you are a patient of ExpressCare. Rapid testing availability has increased the opportunity to use this treatment locally.
